You're in the middle of a massive European tour. How has the tour been so far? Where are you playing tonight?
The tour has been really really great so far. Tonight we are playing in Manchester at a club with the dj, Riton which I am really excited about. We feel very happy with the response we are getting from the audience and we feel proud of all we have done without even have a record out!

This is the second time you play at a Ladyfest Gothenburg event (you did a DJ-set at the 2005 festival). Do you have any memories of the Gothenburg gig or the Swedish tour?
I have so many fond memories from that Ladyfest tour. I was travelling with The Gossip and we had a hilarious time in the van. I also met a lot of wonderful Swedish friends on that tour that I have kept in touch with through the years.

What are your favorite Brooklyn spots?
We are all fans of the Metropolitan Bar on Metropolitan and Lorimer. We spend a lot of time in our practice space and home studios, so we don't really party all that much. We are into Marlow and Sons for dinner and oysters and we love Supercore also.

What is your favourite band at the moment?
Hmm. I'm pretty into the Presets but we also really like Built to Spill. We are into emo/shreds at the club.

How is Ladyfest doing in the US?
Actually I’m not so sure about how Ladyfest is doing. I haven't really heard of a Ladyfest show happening in New York in a while so I guess that means that they have dwindled to a certain extent.

We are really excited to have MEN playing at the GLBTQ festival! What can we expect?
You can expect the driving force of bass and club beats with sentimentality and politics that are heartfelt and melodic. You can expect dancing. And grooving. And you can definitely expect a share of energy between the band and the audience.

At last, I read in your myspace blog that you dyed your merch t-shirt yourself and that they are really cool! Please save some for the Gothenburg gig!
We will have some for you!!! Save your kroners up for some merch.
